Considering i just got mine last week, this is good timing. I did notice that as of a few days ago, there wasn't any firmware available for the BD30, so I take it this is just off the presses so to speak.

Hmm, with the first BD1.1 PiP titles coming out in early January (3:10 to Yuma, War, etc.) I suspect Panasonic has been doing dome testing. Just speculation, I haven't read anything about exactly what the update does - but I'll give it a whirl.
