Dish/cable is getting expensive. Is the 9500 dual tuner hd?

dual tuner? No, but can record one "channel", maybe two, and watch a third if they are all in the same "stream" or transponder. (the SSO's also have this capability. FW dependant? not sure. The "soon to be released" GeoSat Pro MicroHD also will have this same capability)
HD? yes.
Dish/cable is getting expensive? Has been expensive for a while, just getting worse, like gas.

nope its a single tuner only

also dont expect to see the same channels on FTA that you would get by subbing to DIsh/Directv/cable
