Paramount +

As long as your not seeing them during the show, IF you are, then the don't have you on the correct plan.

I don't mind something like that (a Promo) for thier own stuff BEFORE the show starts.
Yeah - it was nothing during the shows. Just the ads at the beginning that I then needed to skip. I didn't realize there was a difference between ads and promos.

I find this is typical of other "ad-free" service plans from AppleTV, Peacock, Disney+, etc. Seems pretty consistent across the industry that promos for other content on a given platform are not considered ads, despite what customers may think.

I don't mind them as long as they are not breaking up the action during the show/movie.

I didn't realize others did this as well. Previously I have only done a streaming service if I could get a great deal, usually a Black Friday deal, and these were always for a full year with ads. This is my first time trying an ad-free service.

I prefer them, those promos are how I discover new shows, Mobland was the latest I watched because of them.

totally agree - I'm good with this strategy as it's also how i discover new shows

they're always skippable and easy to ignore. if i'm binging something, it's only the first show that has the trailer ad and then after that, there are none.

They haven't always been skippable. The last time I had paramount plus they weren't skippable.

I remember when they tried that and they got a lot of complaints and brought the SKIP button back. Though there is no proof the complaints made them do it.

Looks like Netflix/Warner Bros. is happening.
