Got it - that is where I see them. Thank you for the clarification on that.Even on the adfree plan Paramount still has promo's for their shows at the beginning of things. They don't consider them ads.

As long as your not seeing them during the show, IF you are, then the don't have you on the correct plan.Got it - that is where I see them. Thank you for the clarification on that.
Yeah - it was nothing during the shows. Just the ads at the beginning that I then needed to skip. I didn't realize there was a difference between ads and promos. As long as your not seeing them during the show, IF you are, then the don't have you on the correct plan.
I don't mind something like that (a Promo) for thier own stuff BEFORE the show starts.
I find this is typical of other "ad-free" service plans from AppleTV, Peacock, Disney+, etc. Seems pretty consistent across the industry that promos for other content on a given platform are not considered ads, despite what customers may think.Yeah - it was nothing during the shows. I prefer them, those promos are how I discover new shows, Mobland was the latest I watched because of them.I don't mind them as long as they are not breaking up the action during the show/movie.
I didn't realize others did this as well. Previously I have only done a streaming service if I could get a great deal, usually a Black Friday deal, and these were always for a full year with ads. They haven't always been skippable. The last time I had paramount plus they weren't skippable.totally agree - I'm good with this strategy as it's also how i discover new shows
they're always skippable and easy to ignore. if i'm binging something, it's only the first show that has the trailer ad and then after that, there are none.
I remember when they tried that and they got a lot of complaints and brought the SKIP button back. Though there is no proof the complaints made them do it.They haven't always been skippable. The last time I had paramount plus they weren't skippable.
I never saw unskippable promos on AppleTV 4K, but enough people were complaining about it, I confirmed the behavior on my Roku Ultra. I suspect it was either an A-B test to see if people complained about it, or it was an accidental change made only to certain code-bases that was then fixed with a patch. They haven't always been skippable.
