The card looks to be some sort of Visionwhatever or clone thereof. Too early in the morning to remember :rolleyes: I'd follow snathanb's advice, sounds like a very good idea that will let you test your receiver and eliminate that as a variable in the equeation.
 
i hook up the dw sat in cable to my pci card and nothing on all 3 sats and tried a few more nothing . i am get a negative signal no matter what i do
