pgh dish channels in 15904 zip

Just wanted to be sure - are the root sports channels in pgh part of the dish channels? It shows the pens and pirates- almost all the games. If not, I cant see anyone subscribing who likes hockey and baseball. If so, Would those be in the zip code above? The channel list does not have them but wanted to be sure

The rsn channel is not a local channel, if you are in the Pittsburgh dma, you will get the Root Sports channel if you subscribe to AT120+ or higher.

In that zip code you will get Root sports Pittsburgh and the Big 10.

Thanks is that channel in HD? Also when new customers get Hoper now is that the one with sling built in? Lastly how many cable programs can be recorded at once? I know genie is 5 it has 5 tuners- Hoper says 6 in prime time what does that mean? How many not in prime time ?

The Hopper has 3 tuners so you can record three cable channels at the same time in non PTAT hours. If you want to record two (or 4) things on the Big 4 networks during non PTAT hours it will take up just one tuner just like during PTAT hours. You have to request Hopper with Sling to get one, and it might cost you a little bit of money to get it....

The RSN is not in HD 24/7, the HD is turned on for most pro games and maybe a few college games.

If the RSN being in HD a big concern, don't get Dish. From your questions it is a big concern.
