Phillips Blu-Ray Player Question

I just got a new Phillips Blu-Ray player Model BDP5012... It's a profile 2 player with blu-ray live.

Ok here's the question.

How does firmware update? There doesnt seem to be an option for it. Does this happen automatically thru the internet or do I have to somehow trigger it? I assume it's done thru the internet and not by burning to disc since it is profile 2 and blu-ray live.

Any help is appreciated.

Not familiar with the Phillips player. There should be a way to check the firmware somewhere in the menu. If not it should trigger automatically if an update is available when it goes online.
