The pipe I got with my 7 1/2' dish is 4 1/2",except at the top where it's 3 1/2".If I get it welded to the other 4 1/2" piece from my 10' dish, then I will have one piece about 15- 20' which would be lots for the 10' dish.If I buy a 3 1/2" pipe for the 7 1/2'er,where could I buy such a pipe thick enough to hold the dish?Would plumbing pipe be strong enough?I want to mount it on the corner of my big shed(about 20'x10').FYI,I plan to bolt(lag bolts) 4"x4"'s on the intersecting walls(3 on each wall) so that they cross each other at 90 degrees.I will mount the pipe in the 'elbow' of these 4x4's,using shims to make it plumb.Plus I could make a platform on these 4x4's.
Is there such a thing as 3 1/2" well casing? Thanks.
