Post Your Bill

OMG! 100 dollars for TV.

Get rid of the HD packages and save!!! I will never pay for HD unless every single channel is HD.

Seriously? Unless you're doing all Blu-Ray, HD DVD and/or D-Theather, you're getting quite a bit of SD content (much of it stretch-o-vision) even with Absolute and Turbo.

My bill less taxes for my leased 622 and owned 211.

HBO & Showtime -- $22
DVR service fee -- $5.98 (Yeah, but it's cheaper than Tivo!)
GoldHD -- $10
Classic Gold 250 w/ locals -- $62.99
Solo Receiver -- $5
Total = $105.97

We (the wife and I) recently (months ago) dropped Platinum HD and Cinemax.

We may sell the 211 and lease a 722k or 922 (depending on the deals available).

Feel free to advise, critize, etc.

O.k. here's Mine

My $30/month guess was based on my assumption (which you showed here is wrong). IE: you don't need Dish if you are just getting locals and can get them with an antenna.

Since this thread is regarding your bill and you left out the major portion of it, it was hard to tell what you have. What's the annual bill, or monthly equivalent?
Yeah, sorry. I didn't take time to go back and find my prior statement, just mentioned that there was a separate annual charge for Silver.

My annual payment for Classic Silver 200 this year was $528, or $44/month (+ tax). I get 12 months for the price of 11 by paying annually.

The savings is nice, except that it apparently prevents me from doing programming changes thru the website.

Edit - so my total charge works out to $75/month for
- Silver with HD
- Locals
- Single leased 722 DVR

DISH Network DVR Service Fee 5.98
dishHD Absolute With Locals 34.99
The Outdoor Channel 1.99
State/Local Tax (Sales/Gross Receipts) 0.42

Total $43.38

$60 / month for Classic Bronze w/ Locals and HD. Think I am about to pull the plug. I love the 722, but it seems like a lot considering we are mostly watching local channels.

I have my 722 hooked up to broadband and phone and the second receiver hooked up to phone. There has always been a pop up if for some reason the phone connection was not working or in the case of the 722 having both creates a fail safe situation.

This credit dropped off my bill this month, so I'm paying that much more:
Sep 21 SilverHD With PlatinumHD - Adjustment -12.00

I had called last year about the $299 I paid for my 622 when they came out, and a CSR granted me this adjustment for a year. However, after I had started getting the discount, it appeared that many others were getting the same discount for something else. Why were you, if you were, of course, receiving a $12 adjustment??

Thanks. I want to decide if it was granted for something else I was owed/granted, but it wasn't really for the reason I stated in my question/complaint/whine. I'll call again if it was for something else.
