OMG.......
I remember sooooo many of those shows. And actors. I'm a tad sad that they totally left out mentioning any actresses though.
But still, a fun little trip back in time.
I lived for the Red Skelton show, Disney, Captain Kangaroo, etc... Those shows rocked my world when I was little. As did most of the others. I liked the OLD Disney, before they went all evil corporate capitalist. Walt is spinning in his grave right now, I'm sure of it.
But back to the subject, that was very cool! Thank you!

it must have been nice to be able to let your kids watch tv back then and not have to worry that they would be watching something inappropriate.

I've seen a lot of those shows over the years, even though I'm not old enough to have seen any of them when they originally aired. I remember watching a lot of them on FX back in the 90's on C-band and on TVLand, well before both of those channels deteriorated into what they are now.
