Since Roku and Tubi both got bought by Lachlin Murdoch the son of Rupert Murdoch of Fox Media, I expect they will destroy these 2 free apps as well. Greed is the way they follow.

I have been checking this each day, and today I no longer have the "Access for TV" $5.00 line item on my account. So the glitch looks like it has been fixed. The courtesy credit is still there though, so now I am saving $5 compared to before the glitch.

A DISH Playmaker is a portable satellite DISH. DISH allows pay as you go service and since I like to go places a lot and I like to take my DISH where ever I go it really comes in handy. I can use it at home as well. I bought my equipment from DISH4MyRV but this latest Wally Receiver I bought I had bought from Amazon as they were much cheaper this time around. DISH4MyRV runs excellent sells but always during the non camping season. late October, November, December, January, February, and March are excellent months to buy from them. They also offer antenna and receiver bundles. I also bought the tripod to keep the antenna off the ground and away from the elements as well as It is a must. I really like my service.

you could just mount it to the back of a semi truck or rv and just go through the motions with the onscreen menu when it asks for your location. i like using the dish anywhere app i can run my hopper from miles away from home.

i remember when drivers would be outside trying to do a point and shoot with the 18 inch dishes .. no need for that any longer with the mototrized dishes and streaming and starlink. i run my tablet tv cell phone gaming laptop apple tv my printer and ps 5 and even do wifi calling when out in the woods all off of starlink

id'e go with the travler pro!!! while it's not in motion it's like watching tv at home picks up all of the sats at the same time with out it having to repoint itself if need be while switching channels.. and you can drop a hopper and joeys into your setup

Possibly. In theory, $9 of the base pack has a rental fee built in. But now is this $5 a chance to get a little more? I don't know for sure. According to chat, it is a glitch and will be resolved in a timely manner, but we shall see. Part of my thinks there is a going to be a new charge, whether it is now or this fall. Here in Illinois, the law requires we are given 30 days notice of any fee changes, but I have not been given anything.

and what is this 9.00 fee for the hopper on top of the hopper dvr fee . i own my hopper and joey's and wally. when the promo ends i'll be paying 5.00 for each joey and the wally and 15.00 for the hopper dvr fee

I just got notice of my July bill, going up by over $60.
Probably my 2 year just lapsed.

Sent an email to my dish contact. Hopefully he can get it back down.
I'd like to stay with dish mostly because it's easy to use for my tech challenged wife, but also for some of the cool features, like PIP and MultiView.

I also have access to YouTube TV through a family plan, which I use sometimes.
That could be the fallback if the price can't get down to my current level, although training my wife to use that may be too much to ask.

To put it in perspective.... She can't figure out how to connect to Wi-Fi on her iPhone unless I help her. This is for saved profiles!

She will look at the cellular signal display on the phone...."See... I only have one bar on Wi-Fi!"
Me: Honey that's not Wi-Fi, that's your cellular connection. (Shows her how to connect, and look at the Wi-Fi display....)

A few hours later....
"See... I only have one bar on Wi-Fi!"
Me: Honey that's not Wi-Fi, that's your cellular connection. (Shows her how to connect, and look at the Wi-Fi display....)

Another few hours later....
Rinse and repeat.

My iPhone auto joins my home wifi whenever I am in the vicinity. It remembers other wifis that I have joined in the past and auto joins them as well. It is very easy to set up.

Have you had her checked for dementia by chance? Or is this just typical woman tech challenged. My wife is tech challenged like a mother. I can show her how to use something and she will yell at me across the house my phone won't connect to the wifi! Show her again and the same thing the very next day. My aunt is 11 years older than me and she is also tech challenged. I hated getting phone calls from out of state from her saying my computer is messed up what do I do? I said stop using one. So she bought an expensive lap top and still can't figure out how to use it. Some people you can't help. You just have to be their ongoing tech support.
