Was it a Moteck SG2100 or some other name?

Also did you remove as much metal from the dish as possible?
No I did not/just added some 2"pvc pipe for shim. But having problems.I just now see these post about the sg 2100 hh motor. And how to make it liter.I am tring to find my elevation/Sadoun site say 23.5,pansat book say 24.When I used satfinder it say 41.8. So I am very confuse. I got 3 hh motors,76cm on my sg 2100.My 75cm hot dish(which I could not get a picture on) is in the garrage.I also have a pansat pm 900 hh motor/I was told by pansat the my 3500 would not work with a sg2100.They was wrong.Thank guys I love this.

When you put a satellite dish on an SG2100 the dish elevation is always around 24-25º

This dish elevation can be changed slightly to catch and peak the signal.

Most web site will give you the elevation for a FIXED dish not a dish on a motor!

Needing a little help!

I am going to put up my Primestar dish for my motor this weekend and I have been reading the post and it has been very helpful. But I am having a hard time finding out what my true south sat is and My zip is 29316 in South Carolina. And I would like to know what my declination angle is as well and Thank you for the help in advance. GO STEELERS!!!!!

your true south is the closest to whatever your longitude is. In your case Nimiq at 82W. Here are all the angles you need. My list is kind of old so there are a few obsolete entries.

Hello All-- I am trying to build my own light-weight mount for my dish to motor. I am using the messages and pictures above as a model. My problem is that I need a mechanism to change the dish elevation. Other members seems to have taken them from other dishes/mounts. I don't have any to pirate from. My dish is a CM 1.2 M and my motor has a 55mm thick shaft (hard to fit to)(points down). Any ideas where I can get the part I need? THANKS!!
