No, the whole point is to retain the Primestar horn, as it matches the dish better than anything else.
The only flange-mount LNBs I've ever held in my hands, were the Dish FSS shown in my picture above.
They are bolted solidly to their feedhorn.
Previous pictures of Primestar feedhorn / LNB combinations -looked- like they were bolted up solidly, as well.
