PS3 start up/menu screen Red?

I have noticed that my PS3 startup and menu screens ahve a reddish hue to them on occasion lately, I first noticed it yesterday when I needed to do to the update, but it was that way again this morning after downloading some demos...

Its always been blue as far as i can recall.. and it was blue last evening... any idea what could be going on?

It changes throughout the year. It is normal. It will be pink around end of NOV and DEC

ah ok... just hadnt noticed a change before.. was worried.. Red Hue= Red Ring.. lol

ok, so now my startup stuff is back to blue... again having me a bit concerned that it was red for a few days... doesnt seem to be a seasonal thing... any ideas?

Mine changes too, I don't think it means a thing. I also don't think it is seasonal, at least I haven't noticed that. Don't worry about it!

thats weird. mine has always been seasonal. I wouldnt worry about it though!

I heard that the PSP xmb changed colors monthly. Don't know about the ps3.

It never changed in 3 months, did for a few days, and has now changed back.

I thought maybe it was telling me something...

Mine has never changed. I keep reading how everyone says it changes but mine never does.

Its now Orange... but seeing as we entered fall taht makes sense to me.. still weird that its was Red... i guess if i keep getting chagnes i can always call Sony...
