Question about FEC and Receivers

Are there any receivers out there that require you to manually enter the FEC (Forward Error Correction) value?

Or do all of them auto detect it?

I beleive they all autodetect it, if it doesnt its not hard to manualy enter it in, there isnt many fec combo's used.

The Coolsat 8000 you can choose between
1/2,3/4,5/6,7/8 or auto

I set mine to auto

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure that there are no receivers that require it.

I know some of the commercial receivers need it manually entered
