question on 101 sattelite?

does the volume work for the history channel or is it a whey of scrambeling ?i love this channel or is it AC3 ?i helped the brother in-law set up his 3500 triax and picked it up with blind scan. .

I thought there was both a AC-3 and a MPEG2 feed of it

I know all those channels log twice each..one with regular audio and one with AC-3. If I remember, the AC-3 ones say "AC-3" in the title

the brother in-law only had just the 1 history channel with out the volume. he is only interested in the religous channels as he is seven day adventest.
you are saying it should work if i were to set up the digital surrond audio decoder .

yes it will work with the decoder

try and rescan the whole transponder with ALL selected. You should get about 25 channels and the MPEG2 should still be there

think ill reaim a dish and give it a try .i love the history channel its very interesting.

most of the channels are scrambled but all last I checked there were 2 channels with MPEG2 audio and AC-3
