I noticed that some of the shows that you download from on demand have expiration dates....some are just a few days away. Also one current show when we looked at the info it showed an expiration date which was just about two weeks away. Do these shows actually "expire" and disappear from the list of recorded/downloaded shows?

Also when looking at the list of recorded shows most of the titles are white, but a few appear to be "grayed out"....although the grayed out shows can still be clicked on. What's the deal with this?

Did you pay for them? PPV and video on demand have expiration dates, you normally have 24, 48, or 72 hours to watch them once you have recorded them.
If the expiration dates are 30 days from today, that means the recording will delete then.

Alot of the free VOD stuff does have an expiration date and yes it will be deleted from the hard drive after that date
