Questions about Genie

Planning on coming back to Directv this weekend, and wanted to make sure of a couple things. Does the Genie allow access to on demand (not merely pay-per-view) like Xfinity currently offers? Do i need an additional adapter for this access?

Also, I already ordered the c31 client on a second tv. Is there any way to have access to tv programming in a third room without dvr capabilities or the c31 client? Any clarification would be appreciated.

you need a Samsung RVU capable TV but it still "feeds" off the Genie
You could get a HD receiver that would be independent of the Genie/C31 setup
