I have been given the opportunity to get the hr 34 and mrv(whole home dvr), what I need to know is how would a hr24 work with the hr 34 in this kind of setup ?

I have an HR24 paired with the HR34 and it works great. Can watch recordings from both DVRs on all TVs. Plus you get two more tuners. I highly recommend the setup.
This is the setup I'm looking to get. Just holding out till the end of my contract to see if I can get them to provide the SWM16 because that would put me at 10 tuners - 9 of which can record. I already have two HR24's and two H24's, so I'll be swapping one if the H24's for the HR34.
