R15 RELEASED WHEN ? & OTHER RANTS

WELL, directv's PROMISED new website in summer never happened, no new hdtv nds box in fall, so they can sump old product, r15 lied about in august,

so when is directv and their bait and switch advertising gonna actually roll this crap out ?

by the way, i say bait and switch, cause i got an email from them in jan 05 promising specific dates


O and ya directv defenders, dont say, well geee unforseen things popped up... then dont brag in emails about guarnteed dates stuff happen by

I just spoke to the people at D* and they are saying that the retail release of the R15 is "October or November." At least they acknowledge that it will be released, but I would be shocked if we got it in October.

yea after NOV 5YTH , so instead of people getting the r15 they can continue to dump r10, and upgrade people fro free when / if the directv morons release the r15,

I agree. The R15 will come out around 11/6/05, right after their $100 mail-in-rebate offer on the R10 expires.
