R16 & Quick Tune

Is the R16 capable of doing Quick Tune. When I push the up arrow nothing happens. We only have a cell phone so it's not connected to a landline. Our software version is 0x1236. Thanks Tom

I believe Quick Tune is only for the HR2x series of DVRs.

Not yet, it appears. All of my HR20s have it but my R15 DVR does not. I would "guess" that it will come to all the receivers, but we need to wait until they roll it out.

The HR2xs and the R22s are updated by DirecTV.The R15/16s are updated by NDS.If you want a feature that on the HR2xs but you are SD, your option would be to get a R22.Then you will have all the same features as the HR2xs(except HD access).
