receiver problem

this morning i woke up and my receiver didnt have its green ligjht on. i unplugged and it ran its process of coming on...the red and green lights popping on and off until the green light and thus this picture comes on. but today after the starting routine ends in the receiver shutting down completely. no red light just nothing ?????

Disconnect the cable from the LNBF at back of receiver and try to turn on as before.
It may have been shutting down due to a short in the cable or the LNBF itself.
Should it stay powered on without a cable connected, you need to look between there and the dish. Otherwise the receiver may have simply failed and needs to be replaced.
