Recommended ground location

Ok I ran a solid #10 copper wire to my cold water faucet outside for my Terk S26 dish & Winegard SS-2000. But is grounding the roof mounting brackets via the screw enough or do I need to use a grounding block as well ?

I'm hoping that just grounding the green screw on the roof mounting brackets is enough. Last year when Dsih Network installed it there wasn't even a ground installed.

Attaching a ground wire to a water valve is NOT ACCEPTABLE and should not be accepted. Attaching a ground wire to any water pipe beyond 5 feet from where the pipe emerges from the ground is not allowed.
