Recordign HD through VIP 622

If I upgrade to VIP 622 do I need to pay for HD locals from Dish in order to record on the pvr in hd. I currently have HD through my own installed antenna. I heard the HD channels through dish are not as good as OTA.

In order to have the OTA locals program info in the guide you have to subscibe to locals. You can still record them without subscribing by setting a start and end time.

All you need to record OTA is an antenna.
