I'm returning to Comcast once more after almost 2 years with Dish.

I have the 3400 HD DVR and my service will begin next week.

I was told that I can record the 3D programs from the Comcast 24/7 3D or ESPN 3D channels?

But that I could not record any VOD movies I purchase.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.

Shelly

Wow this sure is a dead forum.

Anyway, I was easily able to record some ESPN 3D programs and play back in 3D. Very convenient.

A 24/7 3D channel which plays everything that is available for free on their 3D On Demand, ESPN 3D and many 3D pay per view movies, most of which are $6.95 for a 24 hour rental.

Also HBO and Starz in 3D on Demand.

Two questions:

How often are new 3d movies added to either hbo or starz on demand?

Do either or both show original aspect ratio for 3d movies? I know that hbo always crops their regular hd movies.

thanks.
