i rescued a 10' channel master black mesh. 24" saginaw ball bearing actuator that still works!. im happy...i have three buds now

I thought you were looking for another 10'er.
This should be the last one ya need!

That ball Saginaw actuator is some serious machinery, too!
Clean 'n lube it, and hopefully you should be good for life. :up

When ya get time, please paste in some pix of where it is now, the transport, and whenever you get 'er installed.
I'm sure it'll get lots of blood to boilin' here on the forum. ;)
Going with another dual-band Chaparral ortho?

yes will post some pics...it was on a 20' 6" sch 40 pipe on the side of a house. someone made a 3.5" adaptor welded to the top. it had an old c band only channel master feedhorn with a single giant sized square macom lnb.

the mount looks quite skinny compared to my SAMI dishes but the guy told me he bought the dish in 1984.

it was tricky getting it down. we lowered it down into the neighbor's back yard. The neighbor and his son helped.

the dish is in great condition. it has a few hail dents in the mesh but is not warped.

Reminds me, I need to make some time to tell my story of getting my newly acquired/save of a 10' mint condition Channel Master w/ practically brand new Von Weiss actuator...
