I moved a while back and I'm just now setting up my FTA system today. I setup the dish and made sure everything is right and I'm aiming it now. I haven't had the system running for a year or so. I have a Fortecstar Lifetime NA receiver. I found my truesouth satellite Galaxy 19 (97w) (it was IA5 when I last did this). In the fortecstar menu it shows IA5. I have a feeling that bird is no longer up. What do I need to do to start aiming if that's no longer the correct satellite? Do I just aim and blindscan using those old settings or do I update a new satellite profile?

If you still have the coordinates in it for USALS, and the location is entered under IA5 (97degrees W) the motor will still find it. It won't care what name you give it, long as you have the coordinates correct, and the dish setup to track the arc. I'm sure there's a way to change the name in your rec to what is currently proper for that orbital slot (Galaxy 19).
