I am thinking about retuning my Radio Shack V-185 for the correct length for optimum high-band performance after the digital transition.

After February 2009, low-band goes away in my area and high-band is all I will need as far as VHF is concerned.

Does anyone know where I could go to find out how much to trim off the longer elements?

Thanks!

You won't gain anything by chopping up your antenna. You stand a pretty good chance of losing if you happen to whack a harmonic that is giving you some of the higher frequency coverage.

Did you get your DTV convertor Box yet??
