RTV 87W

I just noticed tonight that RTV has opened up two more Transponders
on 87W, this may have been there for awhile but i have not seen it anywhere.
Here are the coordinates:
3800H old
3921H new
4000H new
4080H old
all SR29125

On one of the new TP, 2 channels scan as TNNE and TNNHD (The Nashville Network) but that is not
what they are showing right now.

its been there for a while. Couple threads in the main area about it

TNN doesnt technically launch until 10/1 at the earliest

TNN, when it relaunches, won't be what it used to be:

NEW YORK, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Tom Freston, Chairman of MTV Networks,
today announced that TNN would be re-branded as TNN: The National Network.
Mr. Freston also announced that Herb Scannell, President of Nickelodeon and TV
Land would assume the new position of President, Nickelodeon, TV Land and TNN,
with responsibility for leading the team that will re-brand, reposition and
manage TNN. Mr. Scannell is based in New York and reports directly to
Mr. Freston.
The re-branded network will evolve to include more general entertainment
programming that will target a younger and more diverse audience. Long-term
plans for the network will include the addition of off-network comedies and
dramas, the development of new, original series and movies, the expansion of
existing sports and outdoor franchises, like motor sports and the acquisition
of new ones.

Oh, thanks for catching that.

I knew I'd read that TNN was relaunching so Googled the news release and posted it. I didn't spot the old date and don't watch TNN to know the history and spot my mistake.

Well a quick scan tonight and it looks like 3 of the 4 transponders are gone,
only the 3921H SR29125 is still active.

correct. I think RTV combined their transponders and reduce redundancy. Most of those affiliates the only thing different was the top of the hour ID. So why have 25 affiliates with the same thing?

We had a bad storm lately and I did a check of all my DVB-S2 channels and noticed that all my DVB-S2 stations on 87 degrees were gone. Before I try a realignment is anyone else having the same problem?

i have been outside working on my dish all day and can not get a peep on the new frequency. :(

I was able to get the other two frequencies before. Anyone else having trouble getting it in?

I've been hearing about certain receivers having issues with it for reasons I cannot explain.

3920H 29125. DVB-S2 8PSK 5/6 Pilot Off.

Some people are tuning to 3915 or so to see it, you may try that.

I've tried everything I can think of and still can't get the new TP. The old ones, now gone, were 76 & 78 Q on the S9. Now the best I can do is a 40, but that's well after sunset. Wow, 2db for the difference. (and subsequent loss) The S9 Q meter really sux. (or maybe that's good???? ?2db=?36Q) 10ft Steel BUD, C2 LNBF - Last thing to try is remove the diseqc and 22khz switches.
