RUMOR ALERT!!!

I am getting word that we could see some new local DMAs coming to DIRECTV next month.

Those DMA's are Harrisonburg, VA, Roanoke, VA & Charlottesville, VA which are expected to launch around 9/17. (Of course they could always be delays)

Congrats to those folks in those areas.

Charlottesville shows being not carried as of today. The other two markets are carried, perhaps they are getting additional channels or something of that nature.

Harrisonburg and Charlottesville are two DMAs that need not exist. At least combine them! But I am glad to see more folks get locals. OTA coverage in that area is difficult due to the mountains.
