setup issue with H20

I received my H20 (great job value electronics I didn't expect it so quick) and I have it activated and working fine except for the tv part. I am waiting for my new HD tv for Christmas and in the mean time I have it connected to a 10 year old Sony 32" non hd tv. I can't get the remote programmed for the TV so I can change the volume and power for the tv. There are 3 codes
11100
10000
10839 shown in the setup for Sony and non of these work. I called direct tv tech support last night and they couldn't get it working either.
They told me to go thru the long way and I gave up pushing the power button after about 10 minutes. I sure would like to get this working and it shouldn't be this difficult.

Try using the original Sony remote until Christmas, you have gone through all the stored codes so the Directv remote won't work.
