Shuttle Landing - Maybe

The space shuttle was supposed to land today but the first window was a "no go." They will try again @ 3:14 p.m. EDT, with a deorbit burn of 2:08 p.m.

Thanks, I'd forgot all about that...too bad the Northrup Strip is a last ditch landing only site... I'd love to see it come in.

De-orbit burn completed, should be on the ground in an hour...

It's really windy here. We're about 3 hours north of KSC, not sure how windy it is there, but the TV pic shows a sky that looks just like it does here. There's a big-a$$ storm coming in from our west, but they should be down in time.

Yeah I watched it split screen... Nasa and Fox News (HDNet didn't cover) Fox was a few seconds behind Nasa... Thick clouds there for away's when they went to infrared...

I watched the HD feed on AMC6. Very cool!

Another successful mission and landing! Downloaded the HD clip of the station flyover from the NASA website, and it looks like a shot from Star Trek! Finally, the station is symmetrical.
