Signal from LNB

I'm trying to run an H20 on a slimline dish. I get no signal on three of the posts, and only odd's 40's and 50's on the other. When I connect the good one and one of the others through a 3X4 switch I get 85's and 100's, except on 103 sat where I get nothing. My problem being I get some high definition channels (locals and espn, and few others) but I get 771 on the others. A tech came out, told me I couldn't have the switch for high def, removed it and everything worked.
When he left I disconnected the line for a short time, and now can't get the signal back.Dosen't seem to be alignment, maybe LNB? I'm back to where I was with the switch on, I get a good signal but not alll the channels. Sounds stupid, any help would be appreciated.

Sounds more like a bad connector/cable to me.

I'm runnng a line directly from dish to receiver Have try'de new cables and still no signal on three of the four.

If you are getting a signal on only one output directly from the dish, then I'd say the LNB/multiswitch has failed.
