The coax that runs from the Sat and OTA, Is that standard RG6 cable or is there power run to the dish also? Would like to run my own cables to make sure I get it installed where I want.

It is RG6. If you have an OTA amplifier installed, then there is power through the cable. Also, the receiver sends power through the cable to change polarity of the feed.
