Skills with Alexa +

I was granted early access to Alexa +.
I quickly found that the skills that worked with Alexa will not work with Alexa +.
For example Alexa + will not control my Dish Hoppers. Alexa + will not work with My Acurite skill to report my weather station results. Alexa + will not control my Ion thermostat.
I found out that developers must create a new skill if they want it to work with Alexa +.
I consider Alexa + a downgrade from Alexa so I ended my early access to Alexa +

Thanks for the heads up. I was considering "upgrading", but have no desire based on your note.
