sling adaptor + external hard drive on 722k

quick question that has probably been answered many times, but I can't find it

On a 722k with and external hard drive, can you attach a sling adapter?

Looks like there is only 1 usb port on the back. Will a simple usb hub solve the problem without adding other problems?

Also, can you stream videos recorded on the external hard drive through the sling adapter?
