the minute the mast/dish was bolted to you house it became your property.

I just had both antennas (dish and OTA) removed by a local installer. He charged $49.00....

I donated the ugly dish and antennas on the roof to my local trailer park.

You're kiddding, right??

Some cable companies (like Time Warner) will offer you a special "leaving satellite coming to cable" deal. As proof they will remove your dish and take it with them.

I got comcast with a similar deal. Forget about removing the dish, they did not even ask for a bill or the receiver. I wish they removed that ugly thing. No title this time

Cox Cable here doesn't remove any satellite dishes. All they do is disconnect at the box on the outside.
