Is charter coming out with something new before the end of the year? I just had my install done and the tech was talking about a cloud dvr service that's coming real soon

That would be very cool. Might get me to switch from Dish, already leaning that way.

I read somewhere awhile back about a hybrid QAM / IP device that Charter was having I believe Cisco-develop--called "Worldbox" that would use a cloud service. I'm not sure if it is in production or being rolled out.
This may be what your tech was referring to.
