I wouldn't BUY one for the purpose, but it'll work okay , if it's free. It's quirky , compared with Coolsat 4000/5000/6000 or the Fortec Mercury II, but it's better than some of the turkeys of that era. It's not the worst stb, by a long shot, but I certainly wouldn't recommend paying any money for it.
