My sony sat hd300 reset about a month ago. Directv tells me to call Sony, Sony tells me to call Directv. I have hard reset the dss and it sees the transponders (strength 88-96) for all. But, when down loading the chanel guide it errors out and i do not get any picture. I have upgraded to a hd21 but i would like to get the sony working again. Any thoughts?

Try resetting again. There was an issue with the Sony, LG, and Hughes receivers about a month ago. Directv did something that screwed them up, but then sent a fix to them. My LG 3200a was bricked for awhile, but is okay now.
