Sony SAT-HD300

I just upgrade my system to SAT-HD300 and R-15
R-15 perfect receive 101 & 95 satellite for international programing
however SAT-HD300 can nat find 95 satellite
Directv saying that Sony is on the list and is fully compatible
couple installers visit me and nobody have clue what is wrong.
ANY suggestions?

I must admit that I had thought the HD300 would not receive 95, but maybe I'm wrong.

The HD-300 receives 101, 110, 119 birds. That's if you are using a 3 LNB dish. Mine came with 2 LNB's, DirecTV sent me an additional LNB which mounted between the 2 existing.

I am looking for a replacement dish without the LNB Arm. My Channel Master dish P/N 3041124 broke at the point where the LNB Arm mounts to it.

You upgraded your set up to a NON Mpeg 4 rec. ?

That HD300 is at least 5 years old there is a good chance the receiver has problems.
