Stack/Destack at retail?

Hi all,

Anyone know of if retail stores that will sell the equipment I need to stack/destack? If so, what should I look for? Or is online/catalog the only way?

I'm in Norwalk, CT and the local Radio Shack couldn't help me.

Can you guys explain what those things are used for? I thought the receivers and dishes worked together to switch between odd and even. If possible, explain so us non experts can understand.

Can I assume it is kind of like a splitter so you only have to run one wire from the dish to hook up two tuners?

A splitter is to cable TV, as a stacker/destacker is to satellite TV.
