starz / showtime $10 special

I noticed on my online account that I could activate starz/showtime for $10 a month for 3 months. I called a CSR to cancel my 3 month 2 for 1 hbo/cinamax deal and asked if they could activate the special for me at the same time.
The CSR couldn't find that deal at his end, only a $12.99 or something 2 for 1. He didn't know anything about a $10 deal . I told him I would order it online then.
I canceled my HBO 2 for 1 old offer and went back to my online account, ordered up the $10 showtime/starz 3 month deal.
Do special deals like the one I took for online account users occasionally show up there ? Small print says offer expires Oct. 31 2010.
$10 is not a bad deal for a bunch of movie channels IMHO.

I haven't seen any other postings on this offer either...

It probably showed $10 because you had two premiums already.

These promos are always buy 1 get 1 free.

When you had HBO/MAX you could add the two for $10/mo.
Now that you dropped HBO/MAX you would add the two for $12.99/mo like the CSR said. My guess is this is what you did but the website wasn't updated yet.

HBO is $14.99 or any other first premium is $12.99
Second is $11
Third is $10

I called today to drop sports pack and add starz and was told about the offer. I took it. Good deal for me. I already have HBO and plan to drop it when the last episode of The Pacific airs.

HBO and Cinemax combo For $14.99 per month.

I've yet seen a better offer then that.
