So if I understand this correctly, anyone not able to get the Atlanta spot beams is SOL for FSS or FSN HD???

I don't understand that at all. Is there plans to put that out in 2008?

There's a Lakers preseason game on Fox Sports West tonight. It'll be interesting to see if it's in HD. Though since it's preseason, hard to really draw a lot of conclusions.

To answer my own question: it was in HD and it looked pretty good. So at the very least all Laker road games will be available in HD, though I'm sure that's of little comfort to those whose own teams aren't available.

I know that Versus is doing HD. Maybe not every game, but I've watched at least two Pac-10 games in HD on it in the past few weeks.
