which side do i strap my ku band lnb to my cband prime focus lnb.I am getting some channels but which side will give me better performance. thanks

well then it depends on which side you put it on. If standing in front facing it left side you'd subtract the offset (5-6 degrees) and if on the right you add that
as example in the below pic the LNB on the left is 99, right is 103

My favorite mod was somebody mounted their ku dish to the bottom of the bud and it magically was correct across the arc

I think you mean Fat Air....

after experimenting with a standard ku lnb mounted along side a c band lnb for 2 days, i found just as some of the post has said, get a prime focus ku lnb.I was going mainly for 97w and picked up a few transponders, not even close to what is on 97w.They all had good strong quality. But nomatter how i skewed or adjusted my dish that was all i could get.I went to 91w just to see if i could get good signal and picked up all signals but of course you know everything is bell there. So my advice is get a ku prime focus lnb if you want to experiment with ku on a c band dish.
