Super Bowl pic quality thread

Mine was awesome. Watched on DISH, San Antonio Fox local KABB-29. All I had to do was mute the sound and it was good to go.

Agreed, I love that they don't have any subchannels sucking up the bandwidth.

OTA in Chicago was very good. Through Dish, not so much.

Noticed that Super Slow Mo was kinda grainy. Not enough light.

Excellent OTA here even during fast motion scenes.

Isnt that why they do 720 instead of 1080? 720 is supposed to be better for fast action at the expense of sharpness. But I have never paid that close attention to it so I dont know.

I had to watch in SD from Dish since an ice storm took out my OTA :river. Our local fox OTA normally has decent HD PQ.

here in the northwest it was lousy!!! oh that's because dish doesn't cover fox in hd!!!

FOX-HD is good...NOT great...watched it OTA and no complaints except that it was on FOX and not CBS with does look GREAT.

Luckily I did not at my house. I recorded it while I was away so I could watch anything that I missed.

When I went to play the recording, it was extremely choppy and segments were completely lost from the recording for the 1st quarter. It was quite foggy here in Kansas City, but I am very surprised that the signal was that horrible.

I watched the game at a buddy's house over Time Warner quality looked good.
