was wondering if directv will go and open the traps on fox next weekend so we all can see the game in high def. i would love that but not sure if they will do it for us or not. would love the comments of the groups

they might get permission to show it to more than just the O&O stations but I think they would have to make a deal with each affiliate.

Not sure what part of Illiniois you are in, but have you tried getting Fox HD using an over the air antenna? In central Illinois a simple Silver Sensor will pick up the Superbowl in HD. Do a search to see what Fox affiliate you can pick up and then see if they are broadcasting in HD.
