The Dish Network User Interface Thread

If you look at that link, on say the "Holiday Instrumentals" channel, you'll see it lines up exactly with what is currently playing on Channel 77 on Dish right now.

Back on original topic, I prefer the Hopper 3 interface to everything previous, but I would like it better if there was an option to show the recordings as a list instead of pictures.

Yep, I hate the thumbnail views on anything. It's like people can't read so they need pictures to make their choice. It's like a news reporter saying "it was the length of two football fields", as if the audience is too stupid to know how long 200 yards is.

Muzak is alive and well on Dish.. still a few hidden channels not available to residential subs, like FM1, but nevertheless there are many that are

It's probably up there un-encrypted.

I remember back in the day 61.5 had an unencrypted PPV channel I could pick up on a FTA (unmodified) box

I can't go as far back was some of you on this thread but I do remember my first combo the 612 and 722k installed by Claude's company I may say :)

My UI experience was getting to the on-demand prompts, seemed like many steps back then, for the little bit that was available then.

New Remonte 54.0 question?
