Been some good shows this week from what I've caught ... Sal was hilarious on the Wrap Up show Monday with his take on Columbus day.

Really!!?? Last I knew he was on the wagon.. Well, that was after the failed suicide attempt. I've watched his show on DirecTV a few times, but other than that I haven't heard anything about him.

IMO Howard reached his peak back when Dinkins was NYC mayor and he had Billy West on his staff. He had plenty of free political material to work with.
The loss of Billy West and later Jackie was the being if the end of the Stern era. Call it what you want, but the move to Sirius was still better than staying on FM, despite the fact that I only listened to a handful of Sirius broadcasts. I chose XM when Howard moved to satellite.
They sure stirred things up last week with the "whack pack or not" thing... I'm not liking the new format of the wrap up show, losing Gary, having guest hosts & taking calls that should be on the main show... (instead of the same callers everyday to the show, Bobo, Hanzi, etc. )
