Thinking about returning to D

Hi,
I left D about 2 years ago due to CS issues and audio dropouts using HR21. I am with E and am generally happy but want 2 hd outputs per box not one. I am thinking about returning to D with HR24. Has D fixed the audio dropouts? When watching 24 on Fox HD the dropouts made it impossible to watch. Thanks.

In the two years many updates have occurred and the audio dropouts are no more (for the most part).

FWIW, I've been with D* for almost a month and have not had a single audio dropout. I have both the HR24 and the H24 receivers.

I have two HR24s and one H24 and no dropouts here. But I haven't tested the surround sound yet.

Nobody has 2 HD outputs on one box if you mean independent tuners. Both DISH and D* offer HDMI and component outs on their boxes if you just mean 2 HD outputs.

Just remember D* does not specify a model number when you come back you could get a leased HR21 again.

The best option is to find a local retailer that can tell you what you will get.
